Harper Adams University, Telford has launched two fully funded short courses in business: Leadership and Management, and Foundations in Project Management.
The Shropshire-based University – founded in 1901 - is bringing its renowned expertise and strong industry connections to its new digital hub in The Quad, in Station Quarter in the heart of Telford.
Designed for those passionate about making an impact in the real world, these courses focus on upskilling employees, enhancing workforce capabilities, and driving economic growth and fiscal stability for businesses in Telford and Wrekin.
Rebecca Payne, Head of The Harper Adams Business School, said: “Harper Adams are proud to collaborate with Telford & Wrekin Council to deliver these transformational short courses.
“They offer delegates an opportunity to access knowledge and skills that will increase their personal effectiveness and support the development of a more focused business. It is hoped that those participating will consider accessing apprenticeships as a route to effective growth - which benefits not only the individual and the business that employs them but contributes to a vibrant and growth-oriented local economy for the borough.
The short courses will equip individuals with essential leadership or project management skills, such as tools to streamline processes, enhance collaboration, and foster clear communication. This not only boosts productivity but also empowers employees to navigate challenges more effectively, ultimately leading to higher quality outcomes and greater organisational success."
With a balanced flexible format and personalised one-to-one support, these courses offer an excellent opportunity to boost careers by highlighting a commitment to professional growth. Attendees will receive expert-led training from seasoned Higher Education and industry professionals, and the chance to create connections with businesses in the local area.
